Suwannapratheep Wins 2024 NJCAA Division I Arnold Palmer National Individual Champion Award

HOBBS, N.M. – Thanaphon Suwannapratheep of Dodge City claimed the 2024 NJCAA Division I Arnold Palmer National Individual Champion Award for earning medalist honors following the NJCAA Division I National Championship. 

The sophomore from Thailand finished each round at most two shots back and stayed inside the top 10 during the tournament’s entirety for a nine-under 275 (69-67-69-70). 18 birdies and one eagle later, Suwannapratheep held off a handful of PING All-Americans for the two-stroke victory and first individual national championship in program history. 

The win is Suwannapratheep’s second of the season and third as a collegiate golfer. He elevates from Honorable Mention to a 2024 NJCAA Division I PING First-Team All-American with the win.
