Midland Tops September 20, 2024 Bushnell/Golfweek NJCAA DI Coaches Poll
NORMAN, Okla. - After winning the Waco River Classic by 15 shots on September 17 to begin their season, Midland is No. 1 in the Bushnell/Golfweek NJCAA DI Coaches Poll. The Chaparrals received one first-place vote and 51 points on September 20, three more than previous No. 1 Odessa (two first-place votes and 48 points).
Hutchinson (one first-place vote), Indian Hills (one first-place vote), and New Mexico JC (one first-place vote) rounded out the top five, while Central Alabama, McLennan, Southern Union State, Western Texas, and Eastern Florida State completed the ranking.
Dodge City, Weatherford, Eastern Wyoming, and Blinn also received votes.
